Full skala i 2011

Despite the great interest and goodwill from many providers, we can not carry Arctic Barents Race in 2010 as planned. We will therefore postpone the next ABR ran until 2011 for the meantime ensure that it is implemented in full scale Murmansk - Røros.

We had 1 December as the deadline for the 2010 plans, but recognize that may be problematic to put in place the necessary financing. The financial crisis is an important reason for this, especially the failure of the Russian economy has made that we must put in place additional funding to replace what was promised on the Russian side when we started the project and when we ran a pilot course in April 2009.

Arctic Barents Race is not only the world's longest sledehundløp listed in the Guinness Book of Records and major international television coverage. There will also be "Nordic Tour de France" and the most exposed cooperation between the 4 countries and 5 cultures in the Barents region. We who live and breathe for the sled dog sport will be able to participate and make the sport more interesting for an international audience.
